Creating a beautiful Dashboard in Google Data Studio
1 – The first widget that I will use is the Scorecard. Notice that I added a comparison to the previous date. You can do this by selecting the Previous period under the DATA tab that’s on the Scorecard Property.
2 – The second widget is the Time series. Here I selected Year & month as the Dimension (and New likes as metric)
3 – The third widget is the Pie chart. Under the STYLE tab, I enlarged the hole with the slide control.
4 – The fourth widget is the Bar chart. Here I transposed the chart to be horizontal and removed the legend.
5 – The fifth widget is the Table. Notice that the table is ordered by the first metric (Likes on posts) and all other metrics have a heatmap. You can do this by going to the STYLE tab, and under Columns, change then Number into Heatmap.
6 – The sixth widget is simply an Image. I like using this widget because it makes the report more friendly. In this report, I used it in the Facebook logo, Like, Emoji…
7 – The Seventh widget is the Date range. This is a must, you want to give your users the ability to view the report on different dates.
I normally add some filters, but I didn’t want to make this report too complex.
I would really like to hear your thoughts, please share them with me.

I would also like to know what metrics and dimensions you used in items 3 and 4. I could not reproduce them.
